newspaper cafe

Apart of the international architectural park, the Newspaper cafe is a narrow folded volume that instigates the process of communication, news and dissemination of information.  Two different facades reflect two different positions of information; the large expansive concrete wall offers a blank facade of the non-information.  It's opposing glass facade was designed to contain the regional newspaper, unfolded in full with the intent of full disclosure.  Each page opened fully or folded accordingly.  The adjoining facade between these two facades is cut back to allow for an open cafe, to allow for discussion, gathering and communicating.
